DISCRIMINATION! Why is it a DQ for one color and not the other ..... ahhhhh they are not accepted yet??????

This is my first post here . I have just recently got in to raising chickens :)) I have got a Black Copper Marans 1 year old Rooster and 3 im not sure hens !! They kinda of look like Welsummer
But im not sure ! My ? is What do you think about cross breeding the BCM Rooster with Rhode Island Red hens . The reason i ask is cause i just got 12 RIR chicks today complements of momma .. Lol Just looking to see if anyone knows anything about this or have tried this . Thank You.

ok...that's good that they DQd them...but I agree...why DQ on a color variety thats not accepted yet and not on the color variety that is...? I should know probably what the TT is...but can't think of anything at the moment.

I don't have an answer for you. I try to keep my lines pure and only cross breeds if I am testing for something. For instance, I just hatched some chicks from a delaware roo x marans hen because I was testing the hen to see if she was carring a recessive yellow leg gene.

NO! They were on the back row judging when we had to leave

Next show I will go early in the morning to BUY birds and come back later to SEE ALL the birds and winners. There were 3 roos and 3 hens I think.
