The bottom one is still a roo. See the head spot.... VERY BIG, that is a roo.... he also has no tail another indicator sometimes.

Like Barred Rocks they can be sexed at hatch

There is also a Cuckoo Marans thread... I just can't find it. It is not very active though.

Well oh well. I'll stick with the one female. I'm not going back to this breeder. He just called me and creeped me out for 25 minutes. They are what they are and I dont' need cuckoo marans that badly! LOL

Well no going back now I will have to make do with what I have because I am not going back to that breeder.

. Ours are always hard to tell until they get around 4-6 weeks old.

Maybe you can find someone else in the area to get some more from!

Good idea. I'm going to take a gun and a knife too and probably one of my dogs, extra baggy clothing with extra layers and long underwear
