My blue splash came fron Arkansas through the mail as eggs. Their shanks are heavily feathered and I suspect the blue blue cross is giving me my feathered chicks. Yes I can separate the black roos but not all of my splash hen have a very dark egg. I will try to post pics later today. I am still trying to get the last 10 of my eggs to hatch. Today is day 22.

I don't know if I'm missing something but they pass in my eyes except for that I cannot see his saddle feathers, and they seem black from here.
Edited to say saddle feathers, not hackles. . .
And yeah, now that I clicked the link they're amazing, but he has too little coppering on the saddle feathers IMO.
