I'm gonna save them for a week (after I send out this test batch Monday), along with some Jersey Giants, and Delawares, and toss them all in the bator!
About your broodies ..... I was able to break a broody last fall. It took about 3 days of work! I took her off the nest about evry couple hours. I dunked her butt in a tub of water each time. On the third day, I gave up. I just took her and put her in a nice new clean nest (kitty litter pan) with fresh eggs, in the little 4'x4' storage area of the coop. And that did it .... she decided she did not want to be broody!
