Here are my eggs and their due dates:

Due March 11

Due March 16

Due March 16

I also have some Cream Legbars I forgot to photograph from Jeff at Papa's Poultry and some ebay Silverudd's Blues and SFH

I hope you will join us!!
That sounds wonderful! Thanks for starting this thread. I have always gotten my shipped eggs from eBay, and have had pretty good success, but two of my winter batches (Cochins and Sebrights) had a zero to 8% hatch rate, so I am trying Papa's Poultry for the first time. Sounds like you have ordered from them before?

On the way from Papa's are just one or two each of: Easter Eggers, Jubilee Orpingtons, Splash Orpingtons and "Rainbow Egg Layer Mix" - could be an EE, Ameraucana, Olive Egger or Maran. We'll see! There should be an 'extra' tucked in, too.

Watching the post for a precious box...

Good luck with your eggs!

I have 32 lavender orpington eggs due to hatch on March 20th, so i would like to join, i have had bad luck on my first two tries so i hope the third try is the success!!

Howdy again! I'm so glad I know so many people from February. I had a feeling you'd said you were putting the 25 in next. Did you set them yet?

Yes I set them the day I went into lockdown with the others that was Saturday evening. Glad I went into lockdown because I had chicks on Monday! I have 25 more in the cooker courious how many I can get this time!! Hopefully better! Am starting on a better footing for sure! Fresh eggs! Better knowledge! Great advice! And best of all great friends!! Can't do better than that!!

That sounds like a fascinating combination to hatch! What is a "self-blue"? Thanks.

Self-blue is the same as lavender. Different breeds seem to call them one or the other. Lavender Orpingtons, Ameraucans, etc. Cochins, OEGBs go by self-blue. Same lavender gene. I wish they would all use lavender, it's more distinguishable from BBS blue.

And I confirmed 100% development on my call duck eggs this afternoon. 23 eggs developing, day 4. Yeah!

I've got LOs in also! Mine are due on the 12th! I love those beauties!!

I currently have 2 bators rolling- 7 mystery goose eggs in a roll-x (my first attempt at geese) due the 26th and 34 quail eggs in the old (semi-)reliable LG (my second incubator quail hatch) due the 20th. I originally planned to set 12 Italian coturnix quail eggs that I bought online this week but they aren't being shipped until next week :/ so I got antsy and bought 3 doz pharoah today, locally. Its going to be a rolling hatch for the quail. I will probably move the first batch into the roll-x with the goose eggs for lock down on the 16th while the Italian eggs remain in the LG to be turned because they'll be at least 7 days behind.. We'll see how it goes!!

Good luck with your eggs! :thumbsup

Love Papa's! Jeff is a lovely human being and always sends extras. I live about 20 minutes from his farm, so I went over to get the legbar eggs. I ordered 10, he gave me 19. (He's not always quite that generous, but he had extras, so he just gave them to me. That's the way to keep loyal customers!)

Awesome! I hear there's a great app for keeping track of staggered hatches - @Jessimom uses it! For sure keep us posted on how it all goes! :frow

Welcome! :frow This is a great place to ask any type of incubation question. Odds are, we've asked the same questions ourselves and had an experienced hatcher bail us out! Keep us posted on how things are going!
