Ah, so precious! Congratulations!

Thank you!! 1 day early and went from pip to chick in only 2 hours. Was not expecting that!

I am new to byc but saw this thread and had to post some of my March madness with hatchlings! My 3 mallard hens mated with my blue swedish drake who's egg metzer farms sent me with my mallard eggs that I incubated last summer by mistake...Now I have 4 beautiful little blue swedes that I am keeping in my warm closet and spending way to much time with! 1 was born 6 days ahead of #2+3 and 7 days ahead of #4. Quite a size difference. I see no mallard in these ducklings. It's as if the mothers had no say! Lol

Oh, but the mother duck "chooses" whether to accept the males "schtuff" or not! I love that about ducks

Finally got a peek at Harriett's baby!
Found 3 empty shells, so at least 3 have hatched.

Call duck eggs in lockdown, I've seen some rocking going on! :yiipchick

Yeah, some of them keep you waiting for what seems like forever then others act like they can't wait to get out!
