Ok I'm impatient so candled the eggs my children put in and saw development in at least 7. I candled the lighter coloured eggs real good and removed all the clear ones and will check back on the rest in a few more days. Broody Bella is also living up to her name so I have decided I'll be leaving her with some eggs from the hens who also laid the fertile eggs in my incubator, so hopefully she will be a mum again

My eggs were realy nice packed. They were only 24 hours on the road.

They look great! With that short in transit they should do very well. What kind are they? Beautiful color.

These eggs are due in Feb, but I am going to set another 6 just like them, but 2 dark ones this time. They are from my hens, and the roosters I just got rid of so I have a window of fertility. No gray eggs this time either. They will go in a separate incubator. Due march 6th.

Got another broody today. I really need to build more nest boxes.
Would it be better to have both hens’ clutches hatch about the same time or to wait a week before giving the second eggs?

I've got 14 right now and once my black copper marans hatch today or tomorrow, I'll start 12 more!

I'm pretty excited... This is my first time hatching Silkies. I don't even know what colors they sent so it's going to be a big surprise! ☺

Oh my goodness! I hope all works out well! Silkies can be a bit pesky when hatching just to warn you.
