I set 42 eggs Feb 25th they are due on the 17th and I am setting 36 more eggs tomorrow that will put them at March 24th for their due date.
That will put me at 78 eggs but not gonna count my chickens before they hatch this time. I had 2 bad hatches over the winter and gave up till it warmed up.
I'm hoping it will be better this time around.

There is so much to learn about hatching........I want to get it right this time.

Good luck to all set 6 eggs on 2-17, 6 on 2-18 lookin for a 3-9/3-10 hatch going in to lock down on Sun 3-6 we will see ,these are all mutts ee/game roo , and barred rock/ game roo who knows !!!

A bit early as I wasn't expecting anything until tomorrow night, but we have a pip! One of the Olive Eggers is anxious to get outta her shell.

Hasn't been a bad day. After being without power all night on the first night of lockdown I was worried, but so far we have 10 hatched, and three pipped! All things considered, not a bad day at all. Gonna hit the sack and see what tomorrow brings. Happy hatching to everyone!

Hello everybody, I am glad to see all the success stories so early in the month.

I wasn't sure if I was going to have an incubator set up in time.

Thanks to a BYC member, I was able to get an LG with egg turner. Thanks to two more BYC members,

I was able to pick up 3 dozen assorted eggs locally. The USPS wont get a chance to get their mitts on them.

The eggs are:

24 Easter Eggers
8 White Yokohama
2 Rhode Island Red(dark birds)
2 Dark Brahma Roo over Buff Cochin Hen

They were set 3/2/11
Due on 3/23/11

And the race is on! I just went to see if that Olive Egger pip had made any progress and found a Marans already hatched!

And she's peepin like mad telling the rest to hurry up
