March Hatch A Long... anyone with me??

I have 3 Minis going right now...
9 blue wheaten Ameraucanas in one, 3 wheaten Marans + 6 BBS BOs in one, and 7 barnyard mixes in the other.

Going into the 20 Advance...beautiful OE eggs I bought from a BYCer.

And I have some Lav Ameraucana eggs coming next week?...I think...

Muhahaha...it all started with my husband caving and allowing me to buy eggs for Valentine's Day (he originally said I couldn't set the incubators until May 1)....

Can't wait for these eggs to hatch!

Hi Melinda!

I'm going to set my eggs tonight, so thanks for inviting me to join the March hatch-a-long! This will only be my third time incubating, and I'm using my new Brinsea Octagon Echo 20, which I've never used before. Temps and humidity are set! If I set tonight, then the hatch date will be Mar 16, but I'm thinking of waiting a few more days so the hatch will happen on the weekend........

ok i have a question. Is "lock down" supposed to be 3 days before hatch or 2 days before hatch. My Brinsea quits rotating two days prior to hatch so i just want to make sure that I quit opening it up at the correct number of days. If its 3 days, I don't think the water reservoir will last. Or maybe I'm being too paranoid. lol.

I am just a newbie, but I thought lockdown was day 18

I just candled again today (day 10) and there are moving babies in all the remaining eggs!!! (13 of 18 original)

I have 6 Orpington eggs in the incubator and 4 Orpington eggs under a broody hen. They should hatch on March 2, crossing my fingers.
