March Hatch A Long... anyone with me??

On March 3rd I had my first hatch ever 5out of 7 black copper marans and 1 out of 7 ee a little
disappointed with ee but hea it is first try eggs must not have been as good as bcms

I locked down four of Hoppy's White/White cross Wyandottes last night. At the same time, I put in four Wheaten Marans and six Black Copper Marans from a local lady. And of the 30 Silver-Laced and Blue-Laced Red Wyandottes that I already had in there, I only had to toss six as clear. And one's stuck to the turner; I'm just going to ignore that one and hope for the best, because it's always a mess when I take the turner out to detach a stuck egg.

I made it to lockdown with 7 good eggs!

Lockdown started as of this morning! Wooo Hooooo!!!

Now let's hope I get some hatching action on friday which is hatch date!!! Brooder will be set up tomorrow to make sure the set up works heat lamp wise and get it all ready for babies!!

well, my last silkie hatched so all 6 that started out made it. now i have some olive eggers that are due to hatch on March 22. out of 5 eggs, 4 are going strong. the one that didn't make it gave out early. my wife is going to have a fit when she finds out i have more to hatch. lol

We set 12 Blue Bantam Sumatras and some Productions on the 1st.
Saving eggs now for the 18th so we can fill up the bator with 60 eggs!
