Today is day14 for me and all of my eggs are clear

I don't know what I'm doing wrong

Are these shipped eggs?

Except when you are rattling a feed bucket

I had a chicken that would come running from an acre away when she heard the feed bucket rattle. That was my first chicken, she was a RIR and the sweetest chicken I think I've ever had.

If the air sacs look good, and you are seeing veining, then it sounds good to me. Sometimes, as they get bigger, some are little lazy babies in there.

I agree, in fact of the 9 polish & sultan I candled the other night I've only seen 1 moving- but they all have good air cell & veining so I know they are good.

I just did my big candle tonight on my Serama. I tossed 3 clears and two funky ones, similar to that picture I posted a few days ago. I'm down to 9 now with hatch day next Thursday. When I was candling tonight, I candled egg #8, who usually does a little dance in the shell, and I was really disappointed when I was not greeted by this little guys' dance... Does that mean he's a quitter because there was no movement? Or is there still hope? I'm candling again on Friday to toss anymore quitters and see if I can put the turner back in so I don't have to keep hand turning.

Woke this morning to the SFH's all over the yard! I lock them up @ night, let them free range during the day. Discovered the reason Dixie, my aussie was refusing to come in last night- she was ripping into the pen! She wasn't after the chickens, she was after the table scraps I had given them last night. **** dog! Now DH gets to repair the damage today.

Those chicks resemble mine so i must have mystery chickens also!!
WAY TA GO on the 100% hatch!! thats awesome!! i hatched 18/35

i had hoped for at least 25 but i should be getting some more eggs this weekend!!
