Hi! did you let your eggs sit pointed end down overnight- or atleast for 8-10 hours before setting them? I ask this b/c all I've done is shipped eggs and this does help them. Also set them pointed end down in the bator w/o turning for the first 5-7 days- helps the air cells settle & chick to develop. You might also want to have your humidity a little lower that 50 for the first 18 days... just passing along some tips I learned from the folks on here that helped meStarting my first incubator hatch ever. Have 13 Easter Egger Bantams going in tonight.

Raised chickens years ago and am just now starting to get back into it now that I have the property to free range finallyNever incubated before so I am hoping for the best even though these are mail order eggs, however, they do seem to come from a very legit farm and were packed very well. Only took 2 days to get to me and the air sacks all appeared intact after candling for them. So all seems well so far, now to set them and wait. Really excited for me and my boys to experience this
Wish us luck!
