ughhh. I told the hubby it'll be his fault if his drown!! :X I dunno what to do.

Does your friend have room in their bator for your eggs? If not why not make your own. They are fairly cheap to make. Tons of videos on Youtube and will probably only cost you $20.

Candled my 6 eggs yesterday on day 7. Saw veins in 4 of them and the other ones were too opaque to see through (maran). So fingers crossed that all are growing!

So this is what my bator looks like now. There are more along the back side and on the other side of the bator. Only a few left to hatch out:

I candled your eggs tonight, all 11 are viable. Wow, and I was worried about shipping all the way from Florida. Now, if I don't get any quitters..wouldn't that be something? Your babies are so cute. I'm seeing the spots on the head..did you say it was easy to sex these as chicks? Small dot, big dot?

PO was kind to the box then. I wonder if those stickers really help? The first person I sent my eggs to got 10/14 chicks to hatch so you may get a bunch.

From what I have read if the dot is more uniform it is supposed to be a girl if it is irregular in shape then a boy. It's been about 90% accurate for me so far. When they start to feather out you can really tell the difference in them. The girls will have broader black/blue banding and the boys will have larger white banding.

Hi... I have some questions before I do my big candle tonight. My first question is, how can I tell if one is a quitter? Does anyone have any pictures of this? Also, how long can eggs sit out of the incubator without harming them? I want to candle all of them, but it's hard for me to tell them apart unless I set them outside of the incubator until I'm all done with the others, and then put them back in...

Thanks bunches!

Sunshine Sally has an awesome thing on candling I learned a lot from it she comes on the Easter hatch thread I forget where to find it sorry

If a watched pot doesn't boil, do watched eggs ever hatch?  :barnie

I was thinking that exact same thing this morning and now have 6 baby fuzzy chicks!

Tomorrow is day 20!!!! So tomorrow is going to be busy getting everything ready. Temp /humidity have held tight. Ive not had any trouble with any of this incubation. I mean who gets it right the first time? I'm so anxious for them to hatch, I mean I really dnt think all will hatch. I am hoping at least 20+ will make it. I set 43so now the countdown is on........

Yipee for you!!!
