March hatch along

Holy smokes.... I just checked out the link. 1600 lumen led for under $15. I might have to get it. I am using an 800-900 lumen led i bought about 6 mos ago for $50. I didnt even know you could get one with 1600 lumens.

I candled at 6 days so far nothing, just a dark spot, no veins. I'm going to candle again on Thursday night (my next evening off) hopefully I'll see something then. I guess if I don't I'll try again, if the egg owner doesn't mind donating more.

I'll join. Had asked a few last minute ?s on the jan/feb thread but then realized, this will be a March hatch, lol.
Anyway I'm all set now. Finally got them all in yesterday evening so I'm gonna call it the 22nd. I set 5 of my Lav AM eggs, three BCM, seven GL Brahma and one token barnyard mix of my Lav roo and my giant-egg laying RSL.
This will be my first chicken hatch so I'm quite nervous... Going to check temp in a few. Hoping to not be disappointed.

I candled last night(day 6) and came up with 8 clears, so we were down to 29 muscovy eggs and two goose eggs that my husband snuck in the incubator. All the rest look great, good veining and nice air cells.

I candled last night but I have BCM eggs so they are too dark for me to see much. Of course with it being my first time with eggs, I don't really know what I'm looking for anyway.

Hey everyone! I would like to join this thread if that is okay. I set 25 eggs due to hatch March 13th! Khaki Campbell Duck eggs, Swedish Flower Hen chicken eggs, Cochin bantam eggs, and 1 Barred Rock bantam egg.

My BCM are too dark also. But we should at least be able to tell when - or whether they don't- begin to fill up with a baby chick.

Well, my Silkies that were 2 day priority shipped - came in today, day 4. What is up with usps?

So, I will have 12 Silkies and 15 Brahmas (from my flock) setting tonight. This will be my largest number I have set at one time.
