Mareks

I got the vaccine and followed the instructions that were enclosed. I vaccinated the 2 month old pullet with 0,2 cc of vaccine. So far she is not having any side effects and her mother hen is fine as well. I contacted TSC where I obtained 3 of my chickens during the last chick days. The hatcheries they get chicks from do not vaccinate. They are part of the flock that was exposed to my Marek's pullet. I am wondering if they already had exposure prior to her birth and possibly have built up immunity. Should I vaccinate the birds in this flock or just monitor them and provide a clean environment and lots of vitamins? I also read on the insert that you should wait 21 days after giving the vaccine to slaughter. Does this mean there is a withdrawal period for eggs if I use this on my older laying hens?
