I'm currently trying to figure out how I'm going to catch them to integrate into the main aviaryI finally named my ducklings..... Peanut and Butter (they are both snowy and I have yet to "assign" their genders)
My Butter approves the names!I finally named my ducklings..... Peanut and Butter (they are both snowy and I have yet to "assign" their genders)
Trap them in a corner and grab them.I'm currently trying to figure out how I'm going to catch them to integrate into the main aviary![]()
Easier said than doneTrap them in a corner and grab them.
I found a rubber fishing net at our Walmart store a while back and bought it. It is fantastic for catching my flock as they do not get tangled in the net like they did with my other large fishing net. They all hide when they see it but usually I will wait until they are in a section of the pen where I can close it off and then I corner them and nab them to clip a wing or whatever else needs to be done. It is the only rubber fishing net I have ever seen and very strong and easy on their bodies. Good luck with yours and they are absolutely beautiful!!!Easier said than donemethinks it will be something like this
