ok so here is the deal.... lockdown is wednesday so CCL, Brahma Serama, hmmmm I dont think I put WFS in.... but by the weekend we should have enough chicks to send along with you in a Uhaul rental. along with two brahma cockerels, two frizzled serama, and a crap load of CCL male chicks!! BAWAHHAHHAAAAA and hey I can throw a few kids in there too!I was just getting ready to say you jinxed us!![]()
If we get a foot of snow, I'll know who to blame.![]()
And for punishment I will drive up to your house and get more chicks....wait, that might be punishment to the DH not you.![]()
They really arent missing too much LOL My kids come back in after short time because they are too cold or too wet or too something or other. Most times the snow cant pack for a snowman! We havent made one yet this year! We made snow sculptures with pcs of snow that froze over with freezing rain on top! You should bring them up north for a week on vacation in the winter, there are some amazing lodges that have indoor pool slides and outside ice scating snow tubing skiiing and everything! I cant aford that, but I dont have to as I can do it without going there. lolCome on down, Sally! We'd love to have you in Alabama!
As for the snow, my kids, 16, 14, and 13 have never seen a decent snow. They have never been allowed to make snow angels because here, it's mud angels. They have never been able to build a real snowman - one that is as taller than knee high and not covered with pine straw, leaves, and mud. The best snow men they ever built were about 12" tall and used snow from the hoods and roofs of several vehicles in the drive. They put them on the tailgate of our truck and they stayed for several hours. Most of the snow we get here starts around 11:00pm and is gone as soon as the sun comes up fully. ugh!
MCF if some of my eggs hatched...they are marked, D=porcelain d'Uccle, B or BH=Barred Holland, M=d'Uccle mixes, L=Bantam Langshan and RP=red pyle Dorkings.![]()
you better get ready for the chaos on the other half of this week LOL
