Seriously though, I want to move south! my RA is giving me a fit. Hubs Mom is from AL Montgomery is where her aunt still lives. They grew up in a house in the boonies somewhere. Sounds like my kinda place actually! His dad just moved to SC so either way is SOUTH.... FLY BIRD FLY! seriously !

Come on down, Sally! We'd love to have you in Alabama!

As for the snow, my kids, 16, 14, and 13 have never seen a decent snow. They have never been allowed to make snow angels because here, it's mud angels. They have never been able to build a real snowman - one that is as taller than knee high and not covered with pine straw, leaves, and mud. The best snow men they ever built were about 12" tall and used snow from the hoods and roofs of several vehicles in the drive. They put them on the tailgate of our truck and they stayed for several hours. Most of the snow we get here starts around 11:00pm and is gone as soon as the sun comes up fully. ugh!

They really arent missing too much LOL My kids come back in after short time because they are too cold or too wet or too something or other. Most times the snow cant pack for a snowman! We havent made one yet this year! We made snow sculptures with pcs of snow that froze over with freezing rain on top! You should bring them up north for a week on vacation in the winter, there are some amazing lodges that have indoor pool slides and outside ice scating snow tubing skiiing and everything! I cant aford that, but I dont have to as I can do it without going there. lol

MCF if some of my eggs hatched...they are marked, D=porcelain d'Uccle, B or BH=Barred Holland, M=d'Uccle mixes, L=Bantam Langshan and RP=red pyle Dorkings. :)

Lol my hellions got to the shells before I could see them. Ended up with 5 tho. Really unusual lot of late deaths :/ . The spraddle didnt improve so it got culled. Out of the 5 4 of them are fether-legged.
