Tell your son, not to worry. My wife has had type 1 diabetes for over 45 years, and it hasn't slowed her down. Many celebrities and sports figures have diabetes and you wouldn't know if they didn't tell.
Hope the rain holds off till after noon, but as I recall, the chickenstocks at Central Tractor have been a little "damp" before and they were still well attended.
