Agreed, I think that's the same reason that I'm not sure about it. I mean, they just introduced Captain Marvel, and started showing how powerful Thor really is, but what's the point if they are going to just keep going up on the power scale? It takes away from characters like Hawkeye, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, Shuri, Maria Hill (she's not appreciated enough as is!), Nick Fury, and pretty much every one else with "less" power, even like Spider-man and Cap.
But, yeah I guess it could open doors for even more cosmic-level villans, which would be neat. And if their flaws are explored well, it will probably even it out some.
At this point though, I guess we'll have to trust Marvel. They definitely know what they are doing. Whoops, didn't know this post would be so long, but oh well:idunno

Okay: Here is a really cool Loki theory that I hope is true. It is unlikely though.
Loki died on purpose, coze, it seems, if you are powerful enough you can break out of Valhalla or Hel or whatever. So the theory goes that Loki got himself killed, so he could go and summon an army of Asgardians, (like the recently added dead Valkyrie warriors) then, lead an attack on Thanos. This however, is probably unlikely and it is far more likely that he is sheltering in some hole until the worst is over, then would swoop in and help with the end bit.
I doubt he'd do that, I agree that he's just hiding.
Maybe? I know in the comics, he made a deal with Death, so that whenever he died, he would reincarnate into a new body. That would be an interesting twist if they put something like that into the MCU
While I'd rather keep this Loki, Kid Loki coming onto the big screen would be very cool too :P
I don't know who they are either, I haven't read any of those comics, just heard a lot of chatter about the movie
Maybe @RiverStorm knows more
I actually haven't read the comics, I just have studied off the internet.
I honestly don't know too much about them, Celestials are super powerful giant humanoid beings who, in some cases like Ego, can bend matter. Ego could create a human avatar of himself and hid his giant brain in the heart of a planet. The only way to kill him was to destroy his brain.
It took him centuries to be able to do that (I haven't watched the movie, only read about it, so that may be wrong) so the Eternals group would probably be a little less powerful.

TRUST Marvel?!

I want the Loki that exists, no other Loki or I am going to send them a very rude denouncing letter!
XD
I mean, Kid Loki (A little French kid from the comics) was pretty funny from what I've heard, (Like, I think he was just the kind of person who's just like forget-you-I'm-a-Norse-god-so-therefor-you-don't-matter-in-the-universe as he sits on a rooftop eating hot-dogs with Peter Parker.) but I really just wanna keep this Loki.
ALSO
Speaking of Loki and Peter Parker, there's a really awesome run in the comics of Loki and Peter Parker being best friends and that has inspired so many fan-fictions and art, and I really need them to both come back and just be like, buds XD
