What on earth was Thanos doing giving Loki a mind stone if he was having so much trouble collecting them?!

I'm sure the mind stone had something to do with it. I was shocked that Marvel only confirmed that he was brainwashed in Avengers recently. I knew it as soon as I saw that his green eyes were BLUE.

And great point. I guess he thought that giving Loki the mind stone would maybe help Loki retrieve the Tesseract

Okay, if Marvel Studios doesn't make Endgame a happy ending for phase 3, if they don't at least bring back Loki, Wasp, and Dr. Strange, I am suing for phycological damages for making me become to attached to fictional characters.

I'm sure they will. I mean, Dr. Strange is slated for a second movie in 2021. Wasp just got her suit and became a hero, and Ant-Man still has another movie. And Loki has the series

Agreed. Although I don't know if I'll end up watching it if it's exclusively on Disney+
