The one eyed, blond Thor, flying purple people beater! (For anyone who isn't old enough, or doesn't have parents who inflicted it on them, the song goes like this: It's the, one eyed, one horned, flying purple, people eater!)

You could see his feet, they were slashed so you could see the flesh and blood, the berries were In front of him, and, while a bit squashed, did not appear to be stamped into the ground. If he stamped into the gound, it would be more of a circular pattern on his feet, with grape skins too. Not verticle slashes and the flesh showing. However, you could be onto something, maybe it was an illusion to further secure the notion in Thor's mind that he was irreparably broken.
That's just my opinion. :oops:

I agree, he definitely cut himself.
Also, he clawed scratches into the wall behind him if you look hard enough.
