But yeah, I think this is a possibility! I mean, remember, Marvel has teased that Loki will be a huge part of Avengers: Endgame, whether that be time travel, or him being alive and come in at the last second to bring some much needed backup.
 
That's actually a really impressive theory. Except, that, in GOTG 2, didn't they mention Adam Warlock (in an end-credits scene)? So this could work. I guess we'll see though!

In the end credits scene, the crazy golden lady said: "I think we'll call him...Adam." But I am not sure if they are still using that storyline for GOTG3
