What kind of chickens are you looking for? I have Delaware and sex links. (I have Del Ladies and 2 Del roosters and 1 production RIR rooster. So I get either pure Dels or good egg laying sex links).

I get mine @ TSC on Devilbiss Rd. Not sure of the price, but should be on the web site.

Hi All, I just moved to Baltimore County in August and we're going to start a small backyard flock (probably 4 birds), in March. A few questions:
1. Does anyone know of a good feed store in the area?
2. Does anyone know where I can get chicks (most likely looking for Rhode Island Reds), or is best to mail order?

If you order RIR's from Southern States you're going to wind up with Red Sexlinks, at least from the Frederick store. I've made that mistake for the last time.

We like our ameraucanas the best but haven't tried any sex links yet.

Whitmore farms was the place I got my Ameraucana, Delawares, Marans and Welsummers before they sold off to deerrun (next door neighbors).

That's a really good price for Ameraucanas. Seeing them put "Maran", their low prices, and some of the other stuff on the site makes me feel iffy about them, though.
