The first to show itself:love

99.3 shouldn't be low enough for a late hatch I don't think. How many secondary thermometers do you have? Could you put them all in one incubator and see if maybe one went bad?
I have two in this one incubator. I try to keep two in each one to make sure I am getting a good picture of temp. I can try to put them all in one and see what I am looking at. Might even try to recalibrate them if I have to.

I was up all night, but finally managed to get the chick out of the crushed shell entirely. It took quite a while to absorb it's yolk and veins (understandably as it hadn't even internally pipped yet yesterday at noon). Now it is incredibly weak, but I have managed to get a bit of a homemade electrolyte solution into it. It's still moving a bit and peeping, but is too weak to lift its head or open its eyes much. Hopefully it regains strength as the day progresses.

What a beautiful baby! :loveKeep her warm. If she absorbed the yolk, that should nourish her well for some time. :fl:fl:fl

Its warm under the brooder. She absorbed the entire yolk so hopefully it will be good. I've been supplementing a tiny bit with the electrolyte water and yolk - which she is taking and swallowing herself when I offer it on the end of her beak. It's mostly the fact that she can't lift her head and doesn't open her eyes that has me a little concerned. Hopefully she's just resting up from an exhausting journey - she's a little beauty (hopefully a she :) ).

My little one that hatched this morning but who’s belly was stuck to the shell is very weak. I got her to take two drops of nutra-drench and put a small drop of triple antibiotic ointment on it. And put her back in the incubator.

my one that hatched last night is lively and active. I have been giving lots of love and attention because she is all alone.

Absolutely in love with this turkey. Had no idea how friendly they were and how much they want human interaction.

That’s why I’m having issues raising my BBW turkeys. They are for meat and they’re too friendly
