What do I need to look for when trying to pick out the pullets from the cockerels? I know at least one of them seems to be quite a bit bigger than the others. We also have two that are quite a bit smaller🤷‍♀️ We only seem to have hatched one of the little grey ones

I look at comb size and color, waddle size and color, the tail and saddle feathers, and neck feathers. Also agressiveness. A cockerels comb and waddles will usually be bigger and a fuller color than the pullets. Cockerels will also have curved pointy saddle feathers where a pullets will be straighter and rounded. A cockerels neck feathers will also be more pointed than a pullets and when they challenge other chicks they will stand them up on end.
