I have Welsummers, SLW, RSL, Ameraucana, bantam Splash Cornish, and a bantam OEGB.

All have at least one egg in the mix although the bantam Cornish one seems to be infertile.

Don't give up. My last broody went to day 26 before hatch. And my one sitting now is on day 24. I candled 1 of 3 this morning and we have internal pip. Day 24!!!

I would assume this egg is most likely stolen from another hen and will hatch before the rest. What is the embryo development like? Is the egg full? Is embryo moving?

If it is several days ahead, you risk momma abandoning the eggs early if it hatches. I would put it in a brooder once it hatches so she will stay in the eggs. It put it in an incubator now.

thanks she only has two eggs under her and i could not see if it was moving but im on day 12 and will let you know how candling on day 14 goes thanks for your help and info

Final count - 5/7 Turkeys hatched & 3/4 ducklings. Would have been 4/4 but one of the ducklings pipped through a vein :-(

Also not admitting to reloading the bator after cleaning it....to the tune of 28 duck eggs...
