Yep, lockdown tomorrow. These are my Tolbunts. Very nervous about this hatch. Air cells are worse than this last batch and I only got one. But so far I stiil have 13, 15 were shipped. Lost 2 out of my other batch, so down to 6 of them. All my sizzles have VERY pourous shells. Not one, not a couple, every single egg.

Put my 15 barnyard mix on lockdown. Keeping my fingers crossed until Thursday evening and Friday.

I hope that my BBS Ameraucana eggs I ordered do that good. Last eggs I ordered 1 out of 7 hatched, but they came all the way from California and I am in Indiana. If only the people that are delivering the box would take greater care of it. The eggs are I just ordered are coming from Virginia so it is closer hopeful they do better. my light Sussex were the same it was like candleling a sponge I only have one left at day14 and it is iffy any way it's shell is so thick you can't hardly see in

wow. just found eleven eggs under my coop. somehow my chickens were getting under there and laying and I just thought that they weren't laying at all! I am going to have block all of that off now. Why don't they just lay in the nesting box. I have two. One is filled with a broody and that's the only one they will lay in! The other nesting box might as well not exist!
