It would have been kinder to the dogs to have put them down, humanely. They don't have a chance of survival out there. Poor things will starve to death.
I hope the people in that town are smart enough not to reelect him.

This "man," and I use that word lightly, is nothing but a piece of worthless trash not worth the air he breathes or the bullet it would take to shoot him in the head. I hope that town has enough sense to fire him now or at least vote him out of office during their next election. There is a special corner in the deepest, darkest, hottest pit of hell for people who are cruel to animals.

In some states, to abandon an animal is a felony. I hope, he & his cronies get all of the punishments that everyone here has suggested & then some.

I can hardly believe that this jerk could do this and not get arrested for it!!!! Has anyone started investigating this yet? I hope they all rott in jail!!!! I wonder if he looks at orphans the same way as the poor dogs. Seems that he has no concern for anyone but himself. And he had the money to take care of them right but NOOOOO heaven forbid a few poor little pooches see anu of that money.

Not only were dangerous dogs set free, but they weren't fixed. Now, assuming they find enough food to survive, they will breed amongst themselves and the wild canine (wolves or coyotes) population. Not only did that jack*ss just DESTROY the whole economical balance of that forest, but he's also put future hikers, campers, and recreationalists in harms way as well...

This guy needs a serious PERSONAL fine and be released from his job. As a Mayor, he obviously has no f*cking clue what he's doing!!
