Mcmurray hatchery

Oh, sure, Cheryl-I would LOVE to meet you at your Post Office. All you have to do is fly me out from here in snowy West Virginia!

I look out my window at snow and rain and ice and fog and I would really really love to meet someone in California!

maybe you can go in with someone else. My daughters hens a getting to old and are not laying so she wanted to order a new flock, I wanted a few new breeds to add to my flock of 13 so I ordered a bunch for her and a few for her. worked well. I know a guy at work who also has chicks and could have gone in with him if my daughter didn't. Some times the feed store will also order specialties for you if you talk to them before they put there order in.

Glad I could help. Also, if it is not on the list under "hatchery' you can do a search there on the name of the hatchery. that's how I found Mt Healthy. They did not show under hatchery since it was not in their name.(their name has hatcheries plural)
Anyway, that link is http://davesgarden.com/products/gwd/c/6878/

I
hope you post pictures from whichever one you choose.

Yes, and I have found some useful reviews on the Dave's Garden site.

I think I am going to send for a few birds from Ideal.

For June, actually.

I want a few more of the Gold Comets, or whatever Ideal calls them, AND, just for the silliness of it, I want a few of those goofy looking Modern Game Bantams.

Gosh, they are silly looking.

I would rather hatch out some eggs, but cannot find anyone who has any.

If I get Comets in June, they will be laying in December, and I should have a good winter lay!

I already have 10 Comets from Cackle, and 10 more ordered for May.

The June ones should be enough. I am sure that my poor husband already thinks I have enough.
