I have been buying small crickets instead and they LOVE them too!

Crickets a high quality option as well but for me they can escape brooder. Even day old chicks can dismember and consume adult crickets if they can catch them. Hen raised bitties have an easier time as mom will stun crickets and give them to bitties to finish off.

Why not raise your own? I have two "farms" going. Much, much cheaper than buying all the time. I have instructions posted somewhere on here. If anyone wants to know how, let me know.
