So, in the last few days I've gained six ducks and one chook. One of the Pyncheons also has a nest of developing eggs and I'm still getting the Leghorns.
I've come to the conclusion that once a certain number is reached, there's no hope.

Milky came back this morning! She was gone for almost a month. She's happy and slightly plump, like she was getting fed somewhere.

Is she spayed? Could she maybe be pregnant if she looks plump?

Though, I've really liked the Brunner Pouters lately and want more!

I know nothing about pigeons so I had to look these guys up. Wow! You have some of them?

This is so very true! I was going along great knowing I had about 50 birds in the main flock and a hand full of birds in other pens, until someone asked how many I had a month or two ago and that made me tally them all. I have 80 chickens right now!! I have no idea when I lost track of the total number, last I remember I was in the mid 60's!

She's spayed. She is so sweet, little milkys would be so fun, but too many cats!
She's playing in a box right now.

Yes! Four originals and two of there little ones, plus one pouter/roller cross!

Have you ever heard of Thief Pouters? They were bred to fly from the loft, pair with a wild pigeon, and bring it back so it could be eaten! They gathered food.

I got the Leghorns!!! I only intended to get two trios, but I ended up with eleven birds. Surprising too, because he also had little East Indies, guineas, and Sumatras! The East Indies were so pretty, first time I've ever seen them in person.
Single comb cream light brown, and rose comb light brown leghorns, plus the cutest little Wyandotte you've ever seen!
