Meat bird tractor

Hello! We are building a meat bird tractor! We have it doneC other than predator proofing.. we aren’t sure how to go about that! Any suggestions?

Hardware cloth on the tractor, and several levels of hot wire around the tractor.

On the tractor? One on the bottom so the tractor is completely enclosed?

"Hot wire" usually refers to electric fencing using a low voltage charge generator, works by discharging a jolt to whatever nose or hand or... touches it. Will work for virtually all critters up and including bear if one get a large enough unit. Check out herein (search "electric fence") lots of info.

These come is both solar and direct plug in styles, you would probably want a solar unit for a mobile tractor. Basically you would encircle the tractor with multiple strands at various levels to ensure that whatever size varmint comes along gets zapped. VERY effective installed correctly.

I have not done it yet, but my plans are to run a meat-bird tractor inside electric poultry net.
