It’s too hot to work outside right now so I thought I would try to post a picture or two. So far looks like I got the picture. lol.

Good looking birds by the way, what all do you have there?

This is like 55 birds, it’s the most I ever brooded at one time. I usually do a couple dzn at a time. So there is a two dzn cornishX, one dzn dark Cornish, ½ dzn barred rocks, ½ dzn Sussex, and ½ dzn rhode island reds. That pic is a few weeks old now they are out in the grow out pen.

Yes I do. I have a plucker, don't know how I ever did without one in the past. I don't process all at once. I will do about 6 at a time, each week. That way they don't take so much freezer space. Also if we lose power I don't lose all my chickens.
