medicated feed how long before eating eggs?

From what my Feed Store told me, it takes a month for the "medicated feed" to
cycle through the bird.
so, one month AFTER you switch to NON-Medicated feed, then you can eat the bird
or the eggs with no problem to the human system.

If you have chickens that are laying eggs now, you should have ALREADY switched
to Non-Medicated feed at 4 months old.

medicated from birth to 4 months of age
NON-medicated from there on.

Depends on the medication in your feed, some have no wait other have 24 hours or more... The type of medication can vary by country, in some countries antibiotics are common, not so in many other countries that use say amprolium that is a thiamine blocker...

Read the label and determine the medication in your feed, then you can get an definitive answer...

In the US amprolium is common and in theory there is no waiting period...
