Does anyone have any experience with ordering hatching duck eggs from Metzers? Do they ship on a certain day or the day you place the order? I ordered some White Layer eggs and it shows the shipping date on my order for yeserday (Jan 20 Sat) but the confirmation email says Tuesday through Friday. Just confused, thanks.

I'm pretty sure on Metzer's website there is a section that talks about what days they ship and then what day it will arrive to you. For some reason I think it's in the shipping section and not in their hatch calendar section...

All I found was this after digging through their PDF Catalog.

The date we give when you place your order is the ship date, not the delivery date.

Confusing still because they aren't open on weekends.

Mine gave me a hatch date of the weekend, but then gave me a ship date of like a Wednesday or Thursday.

I ordered eggs though. Not ducklings. Ive gotten ducklings from them before and know that they do hatch on Monday and ship that day. Just never ordered eggs before

Whoops. I’m sorry! That’s what I get for replying in the car while all of my kiddos are yapping!
