I think they look a lot better than 'ok'Most look ok for hatchery birds
Anything????I received the notice that my chicks were shipped.
That fancy window is my favorite thing about the coop ... and I got in on craigslist for 12 bucks! The entire coop was pretty much designed aroynd that $12 window. (And the $15 shipping crates!) I love that I an go out there, even at night, and take a peak without disturbing them. Although the flashlight does seem to make them a little crazy. I choose to believe that is only because they LOVE me!
Anything????
Yeah! They are home finally!!!YES, THEY"RE HERE...!!!!! Pictures soon. Sadly two were already dead on arrival and I did not receive the meal maker or one of the other ones. Should have had 17 originally, so I have 14. I just am sitting down having a late breakfast, the post office called at 7:30am, so it's been a busy morning. All of them look good now, a few were wobbly at first, but they look so much better after eating and drinking, they're eating chick starter and grow gel and drinking a lot.
Hope all goes well the next few days. I think one of my wyandottes and a brown leghorn were the 2 that did not survive the trip.
Yeah! They are home finally!!!![]()
Sorry bout those two... Did they call you to tell you that the others would not be included? Last year they said one of mine didn't hatch and gave me a list I could choose from to replace it. I'm sure when you contact them about your loss they will credit you or will have already credited you for the missing ones.
We still have a little over 30 days till our ducklings get here and 69 more till the chicks finally get home....dying over here, can't wait, thinking about fluffy babies all day long.
So sorry the 2 didn't make it - surprising because they didn't have a long trip. Glad the rest are doing well and can't wait to see pics!!!
