CrazyChick - That's great that you can drive to the hatchery, wish I could, so I wouldn't have to worry about shipping deaths.

I think they must have counted wrong when they packed them. They have a packing check off list, the total should be 17, but they have 16 chicks listed. I'm sure they will help me out, they seem like very nice people at Meyers.

Wow, 30 days and then 69, at least it will be warmer by then! Can't wait to see your pics especially the ducklings!

OH MY GOODNESS... so adorable!!! Can you tell who is who? This is my first experience with the chickens so I can't really tell what chick is what.. I think I see RIR, EE and BR maybe? Are there 2 EE?s What are the silvery ones? Congratulations ... they are precious!

I am working on who is who still especially since 2 of them didn't make it. I have 2 RIR's, 2 BR's, 1 white leghorn, 1 buff orpington, 1 black australop, 1 silver laced wyandotte, 1 golden laced polish, 1 dominque, 1 blue cochin and 1 columbian wyandotte. I should also have 2 easter eggers, 1 light brown leghorn, 1 golden laced wyandotte and 1 mealmaker. I am not sure which of the 2 brown striped ones are these since the 2 that died were also brown striped and I am missing the one.
