Agree with you there. They should have added photos of some of their customer's chickens. Mine are turning out so nice from them, especially the EE's. I am not disappointed with any of them as far as looks go. We'll see how they do when the egg laying time comes, they're still just 11 weeks, so I have awhile to go. Hopefully they will stay just as pretty or prettier once they mature too.To The Howards: Until recently their operation was much smaller. Seems like they used flock pictures. I agree that stylized pictures or show quality pictures should NOT be used. However, my point was that the person posting the photos of ACTUAL MEYER STOCK had birds that were far better looking to me than the pictures in the catalog and that Meyer was doing itself a disservice by not letting us know what their stock really looks like in the hands of real customers. I ordered from another hatchery because the birds simply didn't look good at all in the catalog. Then I saw the customer photos and wish I had gotten Partridge Rocks from them. Someone else told me that their birds are always above average in quality. Live and learn.
