Okay, the chickens were going crazy and all of them were clucking loudly this morning to be let out of the run around 7ish am. So I let them out with the anticipation of finding an egg, but no luck yet. Someone did nest in one of the 4 nesting boxes though, so I imagine another good sign.
Almost all of them are squatting for me now, which is so weird. I never really knew what people meant by squatting, but I sure know now. So strange. I am apparently the lead hen in the flock.
My CW is so loud now too, she was always the quiet one, now she is always yelling at me. I'm going to go out again later this morning to see if there's an egg. Think it will be real soon now!
Nancy - I'm looking forward to those pics. I understand about the rain, I think it is supposed to dry up for the rest of the week. I am so glad, I want to take pictures too. I hate all this mud, yuck!!!!!
