Michigan Chickenstock 2010 updated 3/13

Yup, I took quite a few neat pics. I have to get them uploaded to the interwebs, and then I'll post them here.

In the meantime, enjoy this video that Dave shot of a "friend" he made at Chickenstock:
(family friendly)

I think it's time to make this thread a little pic-heavy...

Hi,

It was great getting acquainted! But somehow I missed meeting up with Wynette....

But I got my little Delawares home and under their mama broody last night She claimed them this morning, but those silly incubated chicks didn't know what a mama was for. I wondered if I was going to have to miss church to keep an eye on them....but we got them straightened out after a bit. Quick learners!

Why does BYC only do this once a year?

(But let's not do it the same day the Game Bird people do theirs at Eaton County....)

I thought someone was planning one for October? Or did I just dream that? lol

Oh, and does anyone know how the kittens are doing?

Last year several of us met for lunch at Fowlfest in Frankenmuth. Nice show, lots of birds but it still can't compare to Chickenstock. Just not as condusive to visiting with each other.
