Use this thread to let us know that you are coming.
What pass around dish you are bringing to the potluck.
What livestock and/or craft items you will have for the swap meet (i.e. hatching eggs, adult birds, plants, homemade goods, etc.)
What items you can bring to support the picnic (i.e. paper plates, napkins, utensils, etc.)
What you might be looking for.

Rose has secured the pavilion with her own money so we will have a donation jar to cover the cost of rental. Please donate if you can.
If you can't, it's OK. All are welcome.

I will check this thread every day and create a spreadsheet that I'll post on a regular basis so we all know what is coming and what we may still need.

What breed variety is the rooster?

Buff Orpington from TSC, so nothing special, and hatchery quality. I will not give him to anyone with small children. He sometimes "forgets" I'm the boss. I've told DH if he ever draws blood, he's done.

And yet, he's WAY better than the other two I got. They were culled at 4 months. BOs are gentle, they said. They lied.

It's a great vacation destination. Just sayin'.

I have to think a bit on what to bring. Right now, all I can think of is hot food, since it's so dang cold!

The pavilion has electricity. There are usually a few crock pots there.

I plan to come - will hold off to see what is needed before I commit to anything yet.

I plan to bring, quail eggs/chicks I'll have jumbo and rare color standards. Plus blue sumatra and faverolle chicks/hatching eggs. And a few mini rex bunnies, I have it on my calendar to incubate eggs and breed the does in time for the kits to be 8 wks old at time of CS.

Hi!! So I'm new to Michigan and to chicken life, but I'm excited for this. Not entirely sure what to bring, maybe some plants? Some kind of food? Definitely open to suggestions
