Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Woke this morning a 0330, battling a stomach virus that has been going around, and since I wasn't able to go back to sleep I decided to go to Meier's to take advantage of a two day sale on Folgers coffee. The usual price is $9.39 and it's on sale for $5.99 with a limit of 2. While the ad limits the number per purchase, it doesn't limit the number of trips to the store. So later this morning I need to go to Tractor Supply so I will once again stop at Meier's and pick up two more cans. Since the store is just over two miles away I may make. Too much pull can result in decapitation. However, if that does happen it does eliminate any possibility that you only performed a chiropractic adjustment.
Thanks for the trip, I hadn't seen that so I will have to run up there myself,
HAVE A GREAT DAY

So far so good....... chick butts are drying and have actual poops, not just watery stuff. They are on a 5 day treatment of corid in one waterer and they have probiotics and electrolytes in another. When I tried to catch one of the sicker ones for inspection....... she ran around with far more energy than before. I think we are on the mend!

chick sorry about the dog...
sorry about all the troubles and losses every one is experiencing.....Hope things get better for everyone from here on out.

I received a reply to the letter I sent to Michigan senator Anderson; Below is the response and my reply.

When its for political gain you have no problem interfering with the justice department. Is it only when it would benefit a constituent that its banned? It was my understanding that the separation of powers was to preclude this kind of injustice from happening.

Dear Mr. Gohsman,

Thank you for your recent correspondence with Senator Anderson regarding the legal troubles of Mr. Zeilinger. Senator Anderson appreciates your comments and has asked that I respond to you directly.

Senator Anderson understands that his situation is very complicated, and he may even be in the right. Unfortunately, as you may be aware, the separation of powers precludes the Senator from involving himself in judicial decisions. My suggestion would be that he appeal the decision to a higher court or to consult his lawyer further.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact Senator Anderson. Should you require any assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact our office again.

Sincerely,

Scott Hendrickson

Michigan State Senate;

I should have added to my response......... and are you offering to pay for the further consultation and appeals? Darn, the things you think of afterwards.
Meanwhile, I hope everybody that's having a bad time right now ( or ever) gets through it intact and better times come for us all.

Why am I not surprised at the response from the aide? The guys who interviewed me for the radio programme tried to contact Senator Anderson and he (or his office) declined to comment. I understand that many calls and e-mails have gone to the Garden City council and mayor.
