If you have an insulated ceiling why are the pipes freezing?

I have a similar situation, but kitchen is over garage, never had a problem......
......and my hot water baseboard heating doesn't run into the kitchen, so I've always worried about it.

Might be a good idea to open the ceiling and assess the insulation there...cause yeah, dealing with that every winter, YUK.

x2 I would much rather fix the ceiling than mess with pipes.

These are full siblings. Platinum colored Sumatra rooster bred to a cinnamon colored wheaten hen. Intermediate size, 1/4th bantam, 3/4th large fowl. I'm working on a new line of Cubalaya bantams. The cockerel is more Cubalaya-ish and the pullet looks more Sumatra-ish. I plan on breeding from these this year.

Hi to all. My chickens have been ok down to around -24 degrees. Calling for temps down to -30to-35 tonight

air temp. Will they b ok without any added heat?

wow, our temps have not got that cold, ,,,thankfully,,,-15 last night

Saw this in my yard today feasting on a songbird. Checked the coop and everything was all secure and the ladies were just fine.

they are beautiful, as long as they leave my chickens alone,,,,
