Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I just found out that my birds love stale graham crackers!!! I've also caught that babies venturing into the big coop. I'm wondering if they will eventually start roosting in there on their own.

Morels, right?

I wasn't going to replace the lost bee hives this year but I have changed my mind.
A summer without bees is just winter.

And winter was bad. I didn't even tap trees for syrup.
Even though winter was warm the sap flow was outstanding. I made more this year than ever. Now I have surpluses back to 2014. Probably bring some to Chicken Stock as usual. Bring some honey we'll trade

Bob, sorry to hear you were in the hospital. Hope you're feeling better now.

Sounds like that girl might have had fatty liver, that does make them very unhealthy.

Wow look at those nice white morels!

Thanks. You guessed and spot on. I didn't have to harvest her at all. She had a beer belly and thats it, which was a byproduct of her fatty liver - or brown liver. I think I could of reversed that with an optimal diet over a few weeks isolated focus. Well now I know what I'm looking at.

I want to find morels too here in NMI. Looking desperately in scientific theoretically optimal locations with zero success. I'm glad they are white. I'm going to look anywhere now cuz all the reading recommendations have failed like most aggregate conclusions. The morel readings are like a deception campaign. Heck, just buy 'm right? LoL...

I guess you just did. I'm alright. Mom passed away on Friday so I'm still kind of numb to everything. Trying to do the stuff that needs to be done.
Sorry to hear the news.

Chickenstock is coming folks. Time to sign up. I'll be bring the sign-in book, raffle tickets, plates/dinnerware, and donation jar. I have all this stuff so I have to be there. The donations help reimburse someone special that gets our place reserved and paid for!
