Chicks that young have very different requirements from 10 week old birds. You may be better off waiting until they are feathered out, around 6 weeks of age, to combine them.

There are lots of threads on this site regarding integration of younger birds to older birds. I am super lucky that I have a broody that has done a stellar job of integrating my little chick now, almost 3wo. The flock has completely accepted the little stinker, including my rooster. It has complete run of the coop and run, and uses it with broody mama constantly.. This morning I got to watch it navigate the ramps in and out to the run. SO CUTE!His first attempt at herding them he ended up scaring one into the pond!Luckily she was able to flap her wings enough to avoid a complete submersion lol
I’ll be adding some Cochin Bandtam and Blue Wheaten Maran chicks to my main flock. The “big girls” are only 10 weeks so they haven’t matured. Trying to decide when it will be best to do the introduction. The new chicks are only a week old so still pretty small.

This is how I integrate chicks:
If you've got the space to do the setup it works a charm.

Given that the wiring is so funky I've decided to have a professional come in and re-wire the whole house. Hopefully I can get it done sooner than later. My son in law is an electrician, but, you're a little too far for a house call.
