Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

You won't find anybody up here that will disagree with that this year. The Icebreaker came through and broke the ice up between mainland and Mackinac Island today, there was still over a foot of ice and people were still crossing on snowmobiles even this morning.
There are still ice and snow patches here in the woods. Some are quite large. It has been below freezing over night. The days have been nice, might even make it to 50 tomorrow. Alas I have to work in the afternoon.

Make sure you have June 15th off Raz! lol!

I spoke to a lady in Ireland this morning. We're planning a vacation in Scotland next August 2020. That will be one big X on my bucket list!

JM, does your syrup have a nice smokey taste? Just curious if it absorbs any flavor.

I didn't notice a smoky flavor.

I so wish our snow was gone!

The eagles are in for lunch today. There is also a crow just watching.

The front has bare ground where it was plowed all winter.
And my geese will be here next week! The tiny green triangle in front of the tractor is the tip of the grow out coop they were supposed to go into.

Probably not soon enough!
Another beautiful day. Sunny and going to be in the 50's. That's considered summer in MI, right?
Is it too soon to take the tarps off the run? Think we'll get another snow storm? It's almost April..... but still, ya never know.

I would leave them on for a few more weeks. Not just because of a possible snow but also for the rain that is sure to come. April showers and all that.

Well, I'm off to wear the red vest. I'm going to miss most of the sunny day.
