Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I "think" my sore back (from digging holes for potatoes on Sunday) is ok now. So we'll see about string trimming the area I wanted to do Monday, but couldn't because of my back.

I remember when this kind of thing took 1 day to feel better.
Lots of hauling and climbing ladders yesterday, it's catching up to me now(ouch).

@aart, I know what you mean. Oh, yeah.

I call it the day after the day after...usually when the 'over-use' pain is the worst.
Usually ladder work kills my feet the same day, but I felt fine....until now.

When I work out in the garden, I wear a long sleeved, white T-shirt. It's big and loose, so it isn't as hot as it sounds. I also wear a big floppy white hat. I haven't had a sunburn in years.

45 years ago, I used to lay out in the sun to "work on my tan." No more of that!
Oh my gosh…remember back in the day laying on the foil pad to reflect the sun! Long are those days…never now!

on a side note, saw my first hummingbirds today!! What a treat.

heading to get flowers tomorrow. No grass in the yard until fall but I’m doing flowers…they make everything look better!

have a good night everyone!

Also hello everyone after awhile of being offline. I posted with some chicks for sale. Apparently roosters have chicken math too. (What really happened is I had major surgery and wasn't out to find their hiding spots and my chores helper wasn't able to find them.) They're cute fuzzy little golfballs.
Hope you are feeling better now!

It was into the upper 70's even up here - practically fainted from the heat yesterday afternoon, what a big swing.

Yes hummers have been hitting feeders here for a couple of weeks now. Finished flower beds yesterday so I'm sure I'll start seeing more now.
