Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I put in a full 8 hour day at work. That is extremely rare. Heaven forbid a worker can make a living wage. :barnie
Anywho, came home to find a missing duck hen. Did a few things around the yard before going to gather eggs. Well there she was sitting on a bunch of eggs. It seems I have a broody khaki Campbell. I'll have to let that go for a few days and see if she is serious about nesting.
Has anyone had a broody duck hatch out both duck and chicken eggs? Duck incubate for a longer period, right? Can a duck successfully hatch out both?

I've had a chicken hatch duck eggs with no issues. I'm just not sure it can go the other way.
Thoughts?

Happy day to all! It has been hot as if I was in the dessert of Madagascar.
Anyways, to my surprise, the ladies escaped today. Good thing they did not go towards the from of the house nor next door. They have 4 Pitbull dogs. Gathered them in and even Pixie stopped them from running the wrong way. And my third surprise, they all went inside the coop on their own. The big girls were in the loft already and helped the Seabrights. But as I was cleaning up the food, I heard noises. Maybe they dethroned the Seabrights to the bottom of the coop.
However, I have questions. Today I decided to measure the amount of feed I am giving them. Gave them 27 oz of crumbs that fitted in the bowl. The leftovers weighted 19 oz. So they only ate 8 oz of feed. There are 5 big girls and 2 Seabrights that are smaller than a pigeon. I do not know if I am doing this wrong. Can someone clarify this mystery for me?

WOW! I see that it was hot in other areas as well. By the way, @aart, is your fan blowing in or out? The little 9 in is not enough. Putting one like that one in tomorrow and wanted to know. It is so hot. Even diapers have crossed my mind to get them inside in the ac, :lau
Thank you all.

By the way, @aart, is your fan blowing in or out?
Blowing into the coop, from the east side where it's shaded most the day.
I don't turn it on until about 5pm tho. By lock up the coop is as cool as the outside.

Can someone clarify this mystery for me?
I keep the feeder so it always has feed.
If it's empty at morning chores I add a bit more than usual.
If there's quite a bit left, I add less than usual.
Takes some practice to get it balanced.
They might eat less when it's this hot.
