I am so freaking out. Forcast say we will have snow by Thursday. I still have to finish part of the roof for the run and the pieces to make it sturdy and able to hold snow. Also, tarps need to go on half the house. Hub does not wants to wing it in case there is a leak by the stupid skylights. I hate those things.
Anyways, Sally, I will be heading to GR tomorrow to Burton's Meat to get some groceries to make pasteles. Those are kind of like tamales but not the same. They are kind of wrapped up like them only. I did some from last time but was not able to get annato seeds, so it went bad. Just letting you know.

Michigan is one of the top states for home brewing. Same for micro-breweries and wineries. GR is a hot spot for the micro-breweries and Traverse City and Leelanaw Peninsula for wineries. We have a craft brewery here in Caseville and even a whiskey distillery. Not too shabby for a small town.

The community college by my house actually has brewing classes

This is one of them but I am not sure how it comes out. I do love it plain or with butter but it is great to make sandwiches. Oh, with garlic is so delicious too.
Funny fact: My grandfather used to give me the ends of the bread full of sugar. Maybe that is why I love sugar,lol

Me too. Brings back memories of the time I worked in Mexico City. Hotel menu was great. But the street vendors had the best food ever!
